FC 25: What New Features Will EA Sports FC 25 Bring?

FC 24 is the most realistic football game yet, utilizing Hypermotion V and the enhanced Frostbite Engine to replicate the way players move around the pitch, as well as clever play styles and the addition of women players to Ultimate Team for the first time. But it's not a huge leap forward compared to what we've seen in FOOTBALL games. FUT is reportedly working with Take-Two on the next FC 25 game, and a trailer for EA Sports FC 25 is expected to be released soon.

If all goes to plan, EA will launch EA Sports FC 24 on Friday, September 27, 2024. Players who purchase the Ultimate Edition of FC 24 will have a week's early access, and most reports expect EA to not deviate from its established schedule. If EA sticks to releasing the trailer in July again, players may see a trailer for FC 25 within a month.

There haven’t been enough rumors about new features for FC 25, and an EA executive hinted in a previous interview that an upcoming new feature could be related to VAR. In early 2023, FUT Games executive producer Samuel Rivera hinted that VAR could appear in the upcoming FC game. "Of course, we would like to have VAR. This is simply what I say and it is a very direct answer: as a video game, we know from the beginning if it was a foul or if it was not a foul; whether it was out of place or not it was out of place. So, until now, we have had other features that we have preferred to invest in than VAR. But of course, it’s still there, and it’s something that you will definitely see at some point".

The use of VAR also depends on the game mode players are playing, with Samuel Rivera adding: "If you are in something more realistic, in Career mode, then it does make sense to be able to have some mechanics there, around the VAR". So before FC 25, players can look forward to the emergence of new features.
