FUT 22 FUT Headliners: Everything We Know So Far

Fans of FOOTBALL Ultimate Team held many events during December 2022, from the unpopular Versus event to the winter wild card event. Now, the leak indicates that one of the most popular events of the model is back, and the headlines will launch a series of powerful cards at the end of 2021. This event was first added in 2019, and always provides your FUT team with special packs, SBCs, goals, and outstanding players. The event has not yet been officially announced, but we have learned all the details about the expectations.

The headlines may start earlier than FUT 21 because the card design has been leaked and implemented in the FUT 22 database. If everything is the same as usual, we won’t see the headlines until January 2022. The release date changes depending on when EA abandons the RTTF team.

Headliners upgrade is very simple: if live FUT 22 players meet one of the three conditions, based on their real-life performance, they will be upgraded to their Ultimate Team statistics for the rest of the year.

They get upgraded if the player:

● Gets a new Team of the Week card

● Earns a Player of the Match upgrade

● Player’s team wins four games in a row (one-time)

Headlines can be upgraded four times before the end of the year, and always stay ahead of the player’s +1 score of the highest-rated TOTW card at the time.
