FUT 22: Ligue 1 TOTS with Mbappé, Messi and Neymar in FUT

EA SPORTS took the opportunity to unite the entire PSG Wundersturm in the Ligue 1 TOTS for FOOTBALL 22 Ultimate Team (FUT).

Kylian Mbappé (97) was never in doubt: The Frenchman had a fabulous 2021/22 season in Ligue 1 with 28 goals and 19 assists, he was a must for the TOTS in FUT 22. However, that both Lionel Messi (97) when Neymar (96) made the leap into the packs, not all fans and experts expected. The Argentine may have scored 14 goals in 26 games, but his six self-scored failed to live up to expectations. With 13 goals and six assists in 22 Ligue 1 games, the Brazilian has had a strong scoring rate, but he has also missed 16 games through injury.

Ultimately, EA SPORTS was probably guided by the attractiveness of the TOTS special cards of both top attackers - certainly sensible from an economic point of view. In addition to the MMN storm, Marquinhos (95) and Nuno Mendes (93) also made it into the FUT 22 packs from Paris Saint-Germain, while teammates like Gianluigi Donnarumma or Achraf Hakimi went away empty-handed. Numerically in second place, fittingly, is Ligue 1 runner-up: Olympique Marseille. The southern French are represented by offensive veteran Dimitri Payet (93), midfielder Mattéo Guéndouzi (91) and central defender William Saliba (91).

AS Monaco and RC Lens each made it into the Ligue 1 TOTS in a double pack. The principality is represented by Wissam Ben Yedder (95) and shooting star Aurélien Tchouaméni (94), Lens has Seko Fofana (92) and former Bielefeld player Jonathan Clauss (90). On the other hand, the two German Monegasques Kevin Volland and Alexander Nübel, who were allowed to calculate outsider chances, were left out. Rounding out the selection are Lucas Paquetá (94) from Olympique Lyon, Martin Terrier (93) from Stade Rennes and goalkeeper Alban Lafont (94) from FC Nantes-15 special cards are to be drawn for a week.

In addition to the Ligue 1 TOTS for the FUT 22 packs, there are three other themed items to unlock. Ludovic Ajorque (92) from Racing Strasbourg in the TOTS Moments version and Dante (91) from OGC Nice as a regular TOTS card can be added to your own team via task completion, for Marco Verratti (93) from Paris Saint-Germain in the Flashback variant, a Squad Building Challenge (SBC) must be completed.
