FUT 23: new leagues and new stadiums

FUT 23 is gearing up to be EA's biggest football franchise year yet, with more official licenses than ever. Here's every new league, team and stadium we know of so far.

With news that EA and football's main governing body are ending their relationship after nearly 30 years, FUT 23 will be the last game to take on the FUT brand before the series is rebranded as EA Sports FC.

But before we enter a new era of football games on EA Sports, FUT 23 is making a splash. This year will provide players with the most formal sports licenses in Career Mode and Ultimate Teams, featuring some of the best players in the world.

Here's what we know about every new leagues far:

FA Women's Super League (England)

National Women's Soccer League (USA)

Frauen-Bundesliga (Germany)

Division 1 Féminine (France)

Wanerama National League (England)

It's worth noting that while FUT 23 is adding exciting new leagues, both the Japanese J-League and the Mexican league BBVA MX will be off the roster this time around.

While it's nice to have official gear and badges, arguably the rebuilt stadium is the most taxing work in terms of making FUT feel immersive. Whether it's as FUT's home or career away game, stepping onto an iconic course is hard to beat.

Each year, EA adds more and more prestigious venues for fans to play, including the home of any newly promoted team in a fully licensed league - such as the Premier League.

On FUT 23, some stadiums are also set to return in a few years after being snatched up by eFootball in an exclusive partnership.
