FUT 23 Pre-order Guide: Release Date, Editions and Cross-Platform

As FUT 22 draws to a close, fans are already eagerly anticipating what the next iteration of the series will offer. FUT 23 will be the final game co-created by EA Sports and FUT before transitioning to EA Sports FC.
As the final joint project between the two companies, FUT 23 promises to be a huge success. Leaks suggest a global reveal could arrive as early as July, so here's how to pre-order FUT 23.
Release Date
FUT 22 is fully released on Friday 1st October 2021, so if EA follows the same trend then Friday 30th September 2022 could be our FUT 23 release date. Some people will be able to access the game faster through a possible beta or demo version, followed by early access and the web app. That means early pre-orders are available for those who purchased the game's Ultimate Edition starting Tuesday, September 27th. The 10-hour EA Play trial also typically offers players limited playtime and goes live earlier than pre-orders, so expect to see it around a week before the full release.
Expected FUT 23 pre-order editions
If FUT 23 follows the same pre-order model as FUT 22, players can look forward to the Standard and Ultimate Editions. On May 28, FUT UTeam reported that FUT 23 will be released on September 30. While EA has yet to confirm an exact release date, this suggested date aligns with the fall release window that has become synonymous with FUT gaming. Additionally, on June 2, the same source revealed that pre-orders for FUT 23 will be available sometime in July. This is just speculation at the moment, but keep an eye out for an announcement in early July.
Cross-Platform Play:
PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC are all expected platforms for FUT 23. Additionally, the creators say the program will introduce the game of bridge for the first time. Based on previous product launches, FUT 23 should actually hit stores in October 2022.
